Cheeseburger Treat

Cheeseburger Treat


Recipe adapted from Doggy Dessert Chef:
Ingredients:
1 cup Cooked Ground Beef
1 cup Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
1/2 cup Carrot (shredded)
2 Eggs
1 2/3 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1/4 cup Water

Method:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
1. Allow cheddar cheese to warm to room temperature and in a large bowl combine all ingredients until well mixed.
2. Roll out dough on floured surface 1/2 inch thick. Cut into shapes with the cutter of your choice. Place treats on an ungreased cookie sheets and poke with a fork to prevent air bubbles.
3. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
4. Cool and refrigerate.

    I've made these countless times with local and organic ingredients. I use local, pasture ground ribeye and it was magnificent. This dough is incredibly easy to work with and it bakes up nicely. I then put them in a dehydrator at 155° for 3.5-4 hours to fully crisp them up for long-term storage. I then freeze them individually then vacuum seal for freezer storage. Thank you for this recipe, I'm making it today for the unhoused and their pets. You are a true blessing here in Missouri.
